I migrated users on one of Exchange servers then had to remove the MS Exchange form the server, but am having issues with, the Exchange is unistalling, it prompts with error:ID no: 8000ffff Microsoft Exchange Setup.

I have renamed the server, disabled it's Role etc, and it is still having issues.

HI,

Did you remove all the role's and rename the server before uninstalling exchange?

If so that could be what the problem is as exchange wants to remove information from active directory that it does not have permision for now.

The Server does not have a role in doamin, all users have being moved to another sever.

HI,

During the un-installation process there should be a log created

I think its on the root of c:\ by default.

Does the log mention the error
