I know there is a code to dial from a display set that will give you the release of software but I forgot it & can't get in to the cust system remotely. Can someone refresh my memory??? Thanks!!

For anyone that is interested, here is a list of the "*xx" test codes used on the Legend/Magix switches:

MERLIN LEGEND / MAGIX TEST CODES 03OCT2006

*00 MLX & 4400 SET TEST (see mtce manual for key sequence)
*01 Test Tone: enter 1 for 1kHz or 2 for 3kHz
*02 not assigned
*03 Test Trunk Access: maintenance pw + logical trunk number (01 - 80)
*04 TouchTone™ Receiver Test: xx rec # + 123456789*0#, good = 3 beeps
*05 Software Version Display (display sets only!)
*06 not assigned
*07 not assigned
*08 ?
*09 MFM Test: Ringback & 1kHz tone burst (see mtce manual for sequence)
