It's been a good day since I've programmed a Norstar via ICS Remote Tools, and for the life of me, I cannot remember in the workbook under User Preferences 1/2/3 for Programming Buttons where keys count up from on the phones. I know that the Option 11/CS 1000 always had key 0 on the lower right corner of the phone. But I cannot remember where Norstar's key 1 starts for M7310/M7208/M7324, etc... I'm thinking key 1 might be the lower right, but I just wanted to get some clarification. I am pre-programming with the workbook for MICS 6.1 and I can't remember if the Handsfree/Intercom keys start on key 24 or key 1 on an M7324 (for example).

Thanks

You can look in the set DN under USER PREFERENCES, BUTTON PROGRAMMING, FIND, and it gives you the key mapping for the phone so you can know what the numbering scheme is for each phone...it usually starts from top left down...but not always.

So with that said... Key 24 would be the lower right on a 7324, which would be Handsfree?

With the M7310s.. Would the shifted keys be the lower keys in the workbook? It seems like they are reverse from how they are laid out.

I believe you are correct about the 7324 and I do think the shifted keys are the lower ones...
