Dang. I can't believe this isn't possible somehow. Does anyone know how to share an internet connection with windows xp? My windows xp box has a dsl connection. i want to use that connection from my linux box. Is this possible? if so how?
Yes that is about fine. One other thing i would do is set up autoconfig of connection proxies on the client, as you do it in Internet Explorer.
I'm sorry but I only know how to do this on KDE interface:
Go to control centre and follow this route through the tree on the left:
-> Web Browsing
-> Proxies and Cache
Double click on this laft entry and tick the 'Use Proxies' box. Then click the Auto Configure Proxy box at the bootom.
