Hello everyone,

I have a windows XP pro box that is on a LAN via a Wireless NIC. I'm interested in sharing the internet connection of this box with another one in the office. I don't want to use another wireless NIC because Linux doesn't have the best support for wireless as of yet. So my problem is this,
If i goto properties of my wi-fi card and goto the advanced tab im expecting to see "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" and that is not the case. The only option i have on the advanced tab is the firewall. I've tried doing the Network connection wizard several different ways but i still don't get the ICS option.

Any assistance is really appreciated...thnx in advance

So wireless NIC is the only network connection machine has? For ICS you need at least 2 - one for the Internet connection (to be shared) and one to connect to the LAN. The sharing option doesn't appear until this is so.
