Hello people!
I'm sure there are many others that have run into this problem but I haven't seen the solution yet. Ok so I have a hi-speed cable connection going and two computers with Windows 98SE. Using Windows ICS I was able to get a home network rigged up with the internet connection working beautifully on both computers. Here's the problem, I made the unforgivable mistake of installing Norton Personal Firewall onto the gateway computer and now the client computer can't get onto the internet (even after perfect configuration of the firewall). The firewall is now uninstalled but the client computer STILL can't get onto the internet, although the home network still works (it can see both computers in network neighborhood). I uninstalled and reinstalled ICS on the gateway machine and still no dice. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
Thanks,
Jisoo22
