I am attempting to push 4 analog trunks through the ICR to a receptionist hunt group filled by 2 phones. I have everything functional except the calls will not go to the hunt group. They instead ring all the phones the customer has. I know IP 500 wont DID analog trunks. Is there anyway to get this working. If not, I've finished setting up an AA as well, but the system won't send the calls there either. The customer wants one or the other if possible.

It's easy peasy, it only looks at incoming line group for analogue, will not match with anything else filled in :)

If you have setup Line appearance buttons on all phones then incoming calls will alert all phones with a Line appearance button.
Line Appearance takes precedence above ICR.

So erase all line appearance buttons, create a incoming route with the same incoming line ID as setup on the trunk, no DDI number, destination the desired group.

I'll need to discuss the solutions with the customer. They want all the lines on their phones so they can grab them. I explained about the line appearances instead of the direct lines on their phones and they requested the direct lines. I might be able to convince them to use the line appearance instead of the direct lines.

you must mean call appearances in lieu of line appearances

This is where you come in and explain they can answer all calls on all lines without having line appearances. Every single time a customer tries to sell me that they MUST have line appearances I go over exactly what they need and how to do it without line appearances. Never once have I have been stumped and needed line appearances.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

So final results were, I got all 5 lines on all their phones. I set up a huntgroup for the receptionist 2 phones which the system transfers and rings to successfully. I setup an AA and a time profile that the system automatically sends the analog lines to at night so that when customers call after hours they can direct themselves to the correct voicemail they are looking for. Not sure why it wasn't working this way the day before. I must have made a modification somewhere that I didn't realize in the routing or something.
