Hello,

Any creative solutions for using a web browser to access a Mitel MX200 AX ICP's?

It's one thing to have an old laptop permanently connected to the MX200 that can run using an old version of flash, but my production laptop has to have a current version and so when I connect directly to one of our companies MX200's, I can't get into ICP.

I've search the threads here and it sounds like Mitel might have an app/program but I've yet to find it so I can download it.

Thanks in advance!

Install a virtual machine (VM) and install whatever version of Windows you like on your production laptop. Install an old version of Flash on Windows. You should have no problem finding a compatible version of Java on the Web. I found and use v6. I believe I found it in an archives section on Java's webisite. It's been a few years so I can't recall all of the details.

Awesome! Idea! Thank You! I've downloaded the free VM from Oracle "Virtual Box" and will get that V6 java also.

I Use Putty, havent had any issues.

Connect to IP on port 2000 in Raw mode

Terminal Settings
- You may need to force the local echo to off
- Under Keyboard, you may want to set the back space key to Ctrl H

Window Appearance
- You may want to set the font to a larger size
- Under translation - the character set may need to be adjusted to properly display - I find that HP-Roman8 works well

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

My default is off for both the local echo and line editing. I certainty make for a bigger font :)...I also sometimes change the background color. Make it so it looks like the Procomm blue.

As he says this works and depending upon how long you have dealt with the 200, this is like the old way it was done. IMHO it is much faster to get things done too.
