Hi,

I have a customer who uses an TRIO application connected to the RS232 port on the attendant console where you can set up meetings i.e in outlook and the phone will automaticly setup the phone to transfer calls to the attendant. Everything is working perfect, but there are some messages sent from the TTY port where user is ICP that I don't recognize or don't know what is.

ICB:002 MSG: /STX/009875 /CR//LF/ This sets the cfw key
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/019875 /CR//LF/ This clears the cfw key
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/5301/CR//LF/ This tells me that attendant number 1 is answering the call
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/5302/CR//LF/ This tells me that attendant number 2 is answering the call

What should theese messages tell me?
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/50975502/CR//LF/
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/58971502/CR//LF/
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/50962501/CR//LF/
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/50975602/CR//LF/
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/58976201/CR//LF/
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/58975601/CR//LF/
ICB:002 MSG: /STX/50120001/CR//LF/

Are there any docs on the web that describes theese kind of strings sent by the meridian.

looks like your call hit a short hunt 2501 to 5602 to 6201 and the last line is not related 5012 to the console, and i haven't found a web site with a clear table for this trace, just comparing it to a known call flow

What I know is that in the last line 1200 is a number that's related to NAS, but the two first "50" and the last two "01" I can't find out what is. I would think that i.e if "50" in the first line would tell that this is a call coming to the attendant because the call is forwarded in a way while the 4 digits in the middle describes what DN the phone have and at the end "01" is telling me that this is call coming to the attendant because they didn't answer. Does this make sence?

btw, This far Nortel is not capable to answer my question as well... Argh!!

Hi, This looks similar to the protocol used in Ericsson MD110...
There the two digits after STX describes the type of message.
The last two digits is the Terminal.

The "50" signal is used when an answering position answers a diverted call to extension NNNN (1200)

The "58" is used to deactivate the message diversion function and print out the secondary information (if any) on Terminal XX
