ICP 3300 disable direct page

Hi,

last weekend we have moved to mitel pbx.
Now users are playing and testing new phones and some of them found out, how to use the direct page.

How can I disable this function? Wich CoS I have to disable?

Another question:
If I change some CoS, then this change will not be distributed immediately to ip phones. The changed CoS will be active after I power off/on such device.

Is there any command, where I can say: Distribute changes in the CoS to the ip phones without power off/on?

The easiest way to shut off the Direct Page, if you do not need it; go into the FACs and remove the Feature Access Code for Direct Page. (leave it blank), if you need it, change the FACs to something else and tell only the people that need to know.

Answer to your COS change, yes it is instantaeous. As soon as you make the change and the system accepts the change, it set is converted to the new COS.

Turn off the COS option for Group Page.

The phones do not store any options. The call control is with the 3300.
