Icons for Save As and Open in Office 2000

Does anyone know of a way to change the little Icons to the left of the box that comes up when you do a save? I have read about register(or something like that) changes I can make but I don't know where to do that. Is there an easier way to change those without causing trouble to my computer?

Hello all,

I thought I would share my discovery. I found exactly what I was looking for - a really great application for changing those icons to the left of the Open and Save box(They're called Places/Places Bar). Wow does this thing do exactly what I need it to do! I can change those Icons to anything I want. It's called opie 1.0 office places editor.
