Icon in IE address bar

I uninstalled mozilla firefox today and now the IE icon has disappeared from the address bar.

can i get the normal icon back somehow?

Can you uninstall IE and then reinstall IE 6 SP1 with all hotpatches, etc...

Do you mean the small icon at the beginning of the address bar? Like the white "T" on red background for Tek-Tips?

This is called a favicon. And IE is not very good about keeping these. If you do some searching, you can find a tool written specifically to keep & reset these.
