Hello;
I am studying for the ICND1 test and picked up the ICND1 book by Odom. My question is this. The questions in each chapter of the book seem trivially easy but the questions on the CD that came with the book (the ones from Boson) seem much harder. Which set of questions actually comes closer to those on the actual test?
Thanks
Frank

Give an example of each. Wendell Odom is excellent, and I imagine that the questions in the book are to assess your knowledge of the concepts.

Frank,

Exactly what Burt said - post some examples!

Odom is one of the BEST!

Chapter questions tend to just test if you got the concept of the chapter - on the "real" exam it tends to test what you see in several chapters at one time.

That might be the difference! Check the front of the book - sometimes the writer has information on how to use the book or how to study from it!

Also check to see if the book has a website - might have more insight there as well as the errata!

Just some thoughts!
