ICM VS CONTACT CENTER

I am looking at the cost to upgrade a few ICM/PG on a multi vendor platform.(Aspect, Nortel, Rockwell ,Avaya)
The cost of replacing servers, software etc. gets the attention of the management.

I was considering replacing the ICM platform with the Aspect contact server Enterprise.
I know it will cost more but I am concerned about Aspect not selling the Event Bridge and Application Bridge any more and how long will they support it is a known and if I needed anything how fast could I get it.

So my question to all you Aspect professionals is what are if any issues going from ICM to contact server,
Any issues connecting to the other vendors and AT&T for precall routing
Overall experience with this type of conversion would be helpful.
