ICH5 S-ATA Raid

I bough two S-ata baracuda drives with the intention of building them on a RAID1 array. Epox says the 4PCA3+ supports raid 0 and 1; however in the raid utility I can only create a RAID0 volume. The S-ATA RIAD controller is Intel's ICH5 chip. Don't have a problem with the highpoint though, just migrating to a faster interface. Any ideas?

nevermind...found a bios update from epox which did the trick
