Here's a CNet article about Magnets for cats with bad grammar.

Part of me thinks it's hilarious and part of me thinks it's completely repulsive. I'm so confuzed!

Over the top. I had been hoping this entire LOLcat thing would dry up and blow away, now it invades my only bastion of sanity, this board. Curse you 2ffat!!!.

Of course I'm a dog person, and never the twain shall meet. Also nasty allergy to the critters. They DO make good dog toys, though...[smile]

I love how things like this seem "new". I've been putting crappy captions (cat-shuns?) on pictures of my cats for a while and sending them out via e-mail.

Oh, and LOLDay is 8.8.08.

Where is this popular? Have I been out of the pop culture loop that long? I guess so.

LizSara,

They're nowhere I have been.

Let's find out. Do you recognize any of the references in this video?

Spoiler: If you're missing any, you can find a complete list here.

LizSara,

You can't be sad about something you didn't even know existed. I'm not shedding a tear for not having known it. You can be happy knowing that I'd rather not hang out on the internet and know these things. I find them distracting and keeps me away from other pursuits such as fishing, spending time with my family, listening to my father tell WWII stories. Thanks for caring, though. [twothumbsup)

anotherhiggins,

I saw a couple of references I know such as Captain Kirk and South Park. I like Shatner in Boston Legal. His singing voice leaves a lot to be desired. Most of it was unkown to me. Thanks for the link. [twothumbsup)

the magnets don't stick on my cat.

EdwardMartinIII,

You stole my response! That's one of my all-time favorite movie lines.

There are icanhascheezburger plugins for google portals, and in various discussion threads it seems that pictures of LOLCats pop up periodically.
You can usually spend Caturdays on Fark.

Naw, Staples wont let the cat in the store.
No matter, an owl took it away last night.
Like I said, dumb cat!
