I am implementing and interface between our ICAN5.0.5 and Russian SAP. When the BAPI OTD bring back data from the Russian SAP, the Russian charcters get transform into unreadable characters like may AAAA with ~~~ on top.
Is there anyone who had this issue before and how did you fix it?

Sounds like either one side understands Unicode and/or UTF-8 and the other doesn't, or you have a code page problem.

When fixing encoding issues, your best friend is a hex editor.

Start at the source of the data, and inspect it with the editor. If all looks well, follow the chain to where the data is next re-encoded or modified, and check the output of that program. Again, if all looks well, keep following the chain. If it doesn't look right, you've found your culprit.
