We just installed Metaframe XPa on a Windows 2003 terminal server. If I already have the web client installed, I can get to the published app ok. If I try to download the web client, I get a 404 error. If I go into IIS6 and allow all web extentions, sometimes I get a DNS error and sometimes I get a CGI Timeout error. I know that the file its looking for (ica32t.exe) is in the right place. Any ideas what's going on? BTW - the xml service is running on port 82.

Hi,
Ensure that you have the clients installed on your web server, sounds like you don't or they are not in the correct place, search your system for them, I don't think they are installed by default!
You can download the files from Citrix.

If you have run IIS lockdown on that server, make sure to remove the .exe entry from the urlscan.ini.
That is preventing it's download.

Since this is IIS6, I'm thinking I need to allow .exe files to run. In the IIS6 manager, I went into "Web Service extension and made a new web service extention. for "required files" I put c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe. This that the correct required file for the extension exe?
