Help!!! We have an IBM xSeries 345 onboard RAID controller. Channel 1 is configured for the HDD. We attempted to attach a Plasmon Optical Jukebox to the card which was on Channel 2. After an unsuccessful attempt we detached the Jukebox (the Windows 2003 bootup screen stays up endlessly and never completes).

Now during POST the RAID controller (running v6.10.25) fails scanning the drives in the Jukebox we removed (since we removed it).

It gives us options to continue with the new configuration (without the drives) by hitting F2 but it won't continue. We tried getting into the RAID utility boot up disk but it won't give us the option to remove the Channel 2 drives.

Any suggesstions?

Do you get the prompt F5 to accept the changes and mark the drives defunct? if so take that. If not then you are going to have a problem and the only real fix would be to recreate the array since the drives in ch1 have that configuration stored on them showing the other drives on ch2 that are no longer there.
