Hi,
I have 2 x SAS 146GB drives in my server. I removed them one at a time to see how easily up-gradable they were without shutting down the server. When I replaced them one by one the error light came up on each caddy (solid amber). On the Light Path panel it displays a DASD fault and a check point code of A6. I ran the DSA diagnostics and each drive passes the HDD stress test. I can see the green caddy light flash and hear each drive working when running the tests as if it is working correctly (but the ambler light stays on constant).
I tried to reset the fault by pressing the reset micro button on the Light Path panel and still no joy.
Any suggestions?
