Hi All,

This is a long shot, but maybe...
I have the above hardware running RHEL4.
The servers have been configured with hardware raid 1.
I am looking for a tool / software that will allow me to trap any errors in the array and send them to /var/log in order to be picked up by HPOV agents.
I have tried IBM Director but this seems to require another layer of mgmt that I don't really want or need on the servers.

Has anyone any ideas on this?
All help appreciated.
Thanks
Alan

itsp1965,

Thanks for the advice I'll take a look.

Much appreciated.
Alan

Yep, that did the trick.

Thanks for the pointer.

Guys,

Another question if you don't mind...

Is there a way of getting console access via the rsa without going through the very slooo control feature on these boxes?

You can tell that normally I am a Solaris / SUN person can't you.

Thanks
Alan

Yes Alan, RSA can provide you with console access to your Windows/Linux boxes. For this to work, you will have to make use of the onboard video on the RSA card and load the appropriate drivers.
You will also need a browser with the latest Java Runtime support
Hope this helps.
