I manage some IBM x-series 230 servers.
Since the machines are installed and up-and-running, I got several machines that went down.
The errors in the system bios mentions CPU overtemperature, overvoltage errors, I2C device reading failures, system powered off to faults on power supplies, Power supply 3 Good fault, ...
When calling IBM Helpdesk, they said it was ECA057.
This means an error on the on-board VRM (voltage regulator module).
I cannot find any info on the IBM tech support about it.
Has anyone detailed information on this subject?
