I have an older ibm thinkpad 390e. It was used for the serial port to inter face to phone systems. I got a hold of a docking station to charge the battery from and dock to internet but cannot get the docking station to work. I have formatted it and reloaded an xp os on it. It originally had windows 95 or 98. The power port was damaged by someone pulling the cord too hard and will not charge the battery directly. I have 1 hour of battery power to figure out how to get it to recognize the docking station(obviously I am not currently waisting the power now. on different machine). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for you time.

John
