IBM T30 - Modem Hyper Terminal 1

Having a problem using the On-board modem (Agere Systems AC97) in a Hyper Terminal Session. Any ideas?

What Problem?????????? What version of Windows are you using? What are you trying to do?

As a suggestion, try installing Hyperterminal Private Edition and see if that helps. The version that ships with windows, especially WinXP is not to good.

No Dial Tone. Using Win XP. Connecting into a PABX system for remote management. Works Fine with IBM T42. But not with T30 or T40.

Have you tried PE edition. I had no end of problems using HyperTerminal with XP when connecting via serial connections.
