These things are killing me! Finally have made it pass the touch screen issues and now after their 3rd birthday they start having network issues. Not all of them, but at least one per site. We drop off a loaner that doesn't experience the same issues so we can rule out the environment, but they will not break in house on the test bench. Even when attached to a 300ft patch cable to simulate a longer run than it has in the field. And on top of that, I guess there is a back-light life expectancy, because we have seem to have a run on that issue here lately. And all these IBMs are pulgged into SmartPower ups's which has line conditioning built in. We don't install a system without them. Why are there dos based systems out there running from 10 plus years ago, and all this new technology seems to have a five or less year life???
