I bought a conductive circuit pen from radio shack, and squeeze little on each of the 10-pin power conduct. and plug right back.

the ibm surepos 500 has a flaw that the power cable easy to get system failure, there's list on ebay selling the power cable for $28, which is too expensive. Anyway hope it helps
