Hi

IBM xseries 330 Eserver with 4LX RAID controller. I reconfigured this machine with a single RAID 1 logical drive. I deployed OS using a Automated Deployemnt services image on this.
When the machine restarted , there was a cursor blinking on the screen. nothing happens after that.

I updated the firmware version of BIOS and controller. but didn't solve the problem.

Finally i tried fxing the MBR( Master Boot Record ) by using Fdisk /mbr

It worked.

Yeah

I seen this before when installing onto drives that have previously had LInux installed on them...not sure if it applies here but my 2 cents anyway ;-)
