i have ibm pc server 330 (8640-PM0) dual pentium pro 200Mhz with 512 cache.

how i can disable built in VGA in there which is S3trio64v+

because when i try put any other 4mb or 8mb pci vga card in there and run windows 2000 i got some error on blue screen and it's stop booting windows but when remove pci vga card ..it's run perfect ... also i format my hardisks and try to reinstal windows 2000 with bootable cd with new 4mb pci vga card but after instalation on boot it will show me again error on blue screen and stop booting :(

but when i remove 4mb vga card and run it on it default s3trio64v+ ..it will run perfect ..i don't know what is this problem ..i tryed many PCI vga cards but i got same problem :(.

i really need to install 4mb vga on it for fast graphics so please help me in this problem...

help me please

I see that dhauser has given you the wrong link What a bonehead :) (Actually, I work with dhauser so I'm allowed to pick on him)

As to how to disable the onboard, I see nothing in the Hardware Maintenance Manual to let me know how to do this. There should be a jumper at least on the motherboard, but nothing is listed in the HMM.

The following is copied from the 330 Users reference guide that can be found at the above link:

You can install a video adapter in PCI expansion slot 1 or PCI expansion slot 2.
Note: For your server to recognize an optional video adapter, you must move a jumper on the system board.

Again though, I see no mention of where this jumper should be. Try one of those slots and see if it helps any.
