Greetings.
First, I'd like to thank the users of this board for helping me find the software my server needs to be configured. The links and information have saved me a lot of time and energy.
However, I've ran into a problem. Using the ServeRAID support CD, I seem to be unable to choose "Configure RAID". The option is greyed out in the GUI. No drives are listed with I instruct the software to scan for them, and the mini-configuration utility never lists the drives in RDY or SBY status (just "---".
My setup is common, as my reading of this forum seems to indicate. 6 SCSI disks (4.5Gb each) hot-swappable. I can access these drives through an operating system. I can do software RAID via Linux, read and write from the individual disks, etc. I'd rather use the hardware RAID controller if possible.
Any advice?
