Hello guys,

I just have 1 new ibm power6 and see on rootvg disks that now the name is SAS
what is the difference between SAS and SCSI ?

Thanks in advance
Cheers
Al

I came to conclude that from this statement!

Code:
SAS is a performance improvement over traditional SCSI because SAS enables multiple devices (up to 128) of different sizes and types to be connected simultaneously with thinner and longer cables; its full-duplex signal transmission supports 3.0Gb/s.

Khalid
