I have purchased a used IBM NetVista with no operating system. I installed XP Home. I have no video control. Only 4 bit 400 X 600. I have tried everything I know Nvidai, ATI, and Intel with no luck IBM only has win 2000 drivers. There is a very large number of NetVista models like over 100. I don't know which one I have. Does anyone know how to get video drivers into this machine. I think it has onboard video. May have to buy a card. Don't want to, already had to replace the hard drive. It came damaged.

Thanks
Scott

Hi,
No docs on your particular machine I guess..

Have you tried the WIN2K drivers? Do they specify what video card is used?

On Boot Up, does the first screen ( the POST part - the black one before the Windows Loading one), show any info about the Video ?

What is the model and type of your NetVista? Should be on a small label or on the back of the system, four digits dash 3 alphanumerics, e.g. 8122-55U

Got it thanks I found it in the BIOS Brookdale G Graphics found a working driver no problem.

Thanks

And thanks for reminding me that the model and type can be found in BIOS :)
