Hi,

I am trying to connect DB2 iseries(AS 400) which running on OS 400 v5r3 using ER/studio.
after i entered all the information, i got the following error message:

[IBM][iSeries Access ODBC Driver][DB2 UDB]SQL5016 - Qualified object name SCHEMATA not valid.

does [DB2 UDB] mean i connect to other DB2 server but not iseries?

please advise

Type 'dspmsgd sql5016 qsqlmsg' then option 1 to get a full explanation of this error message that should put you on the track.

Might check the DSN, if one is associated.

In Access, I linked an as/400 file, using a iSeries Access DSN.

On the Server tab, I changed the naming convention to --
SQL naming convention (*SQL)

And I got rid of that error.
