Used for connection to Nortel router.
NT will not start this deivce, I'm betting it is the driver. IBM also does not support this old ISA card, but the following information was available:
Desp - ISA MultiProtocal Communication Adapter
Marketing Part # 73G7099
Replacement FRU # 73G3224 ... this number is actually stickered on the card.

Any help at all..... thanks

Sounds to me like this might be an old SDLC card. Is it a DCA or EICON card? The only confusing part is you say it is connected to a Nortel router. What type of circuit is this connected to.

IBM MultiProtocal. Ths driver comes with SNA 4. I got it to work, but very inconsistant. Typical ISA problems, only certain IRQ and memory settings are allowed. It's was a test machine on a frame circuit. I had it up for days, then moved it to another location and got it to work.

Thanks for responding and you are right, it's very old.
