Our ARCserve environment is running on ARCserve 11.5 SP3 and the Windows platforms are all Windows 2003 SP1 IBM servers Stand-alone servers connected to a Hitachi NSC-55 SAN.

The 64Bit Server ONLY have StorPort Drivers......we upgraded Version: 9.1.2.19 Release Date: 2007-04-26

But whenever we configure the tape engine , the tape.log shows the following error :

2007/07/27 15:55:47 [07ac] Bad Device handle printing SCSI Port Error...
2007/07/27 15:55:47 [07ac] 07/27 15:55:47 ABSL: 2000 SCSICommandRetry: NT Err or that can be retried. CMD:[12], Error 1306
007/07/27 15:55:47 [07ac] =>ABSL: 2000 Error. MS=1306 [Indicates two revision levels are incompatible

What is the root cause of this error( 1306 ) ? Is it HBA , MS , IBM

Has anyone configured the SAN using 64 bit Server and if yes what drivers of ibm is being used

Thanks in advance for all the help

cheers
