Folks,

I'm trying to get IBM Director running on Redhat 7.3 with DB2 7.2FP8 running. I havn't yet discovered any servers because every time I stop IBM Director (twgstop) I can't restart it without recreating the database (cfgdb). Any ideas on how to reslove this would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Have you created a /etc/TWGserver/setup_env file, with the following statements:
. /home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile
. /home/db2inst1/sqllib/java12/usejdbc2
where home/db2inst1 is the directory where DB2 is installed. These statements set up the DB2 environment and configure DB2 to use the JDBC 2.0 driver, which is what is sounds like you're losing. The details are in the IBM Director Installation and Configuration Guide, beginning on page 52.
