We have a series of servers installed with director agent 3.1.
Some of them report what seems to be false alarms, like 'a fan has failed' or 'system voltage out of specifications'.

It seems to be Netfinity 5000 and 5100 system every time.

Has anyone got a idea on how to correct this?

I would try updating the ASMA (Advanced Systems Management Adapter) firmware and device driver. Then ensure all Director e-Fixes are installed.

On the referenced systems, the BIOS, ASM firmware, ASM device driver, and the IBM Director code should be updated to the current version. There have been numerous fixes in all of these that correct many of the issues.
