We have provisioned 2 bladecenters full of HS20 blades. We have installed the IBM director 5.10 agent on these, but most are not appearing as level 2 agents in the Director console.
Some are being detected as level-0, but not all of them. Strange thing is, when you check their properties, they sometimes list that they are as full agents, and sometimes as core services, even when they are listed under level-0 folder in the console. These agents also appear to 'flip' between the Level-1 and Level-0 list...
Some don't appear at all, no matter what I try. I have tried reinstalling the agents in a manner of ways: Pushed install from IBM Director, manual install with and without encryption. Nothing much seems to work.
Of all the blades, only about 3 or so are actually proper level-2 agents now, the rest are simply not showing up.
We have no firewall software installed anywhere, and the blades are on the same VLAN as the IBM Director production lan interface.
