IBM Director Agent Install Hangs at IBMSETUP.EXE

Hello,

We have about 50 Director agent installed, but now I have 2 Server which won't install.

A Black windows appears titled f:\director\win32\install\ibmsetup.exe and nothing happens.

Usually, this window appears for a short time and then the installation starts.

Has anyone got an idea what this might be?

Netfinity 5000 with NT4 Service pack 5, IE 5.5, but we have a lot of other servers with the same configuration.

What else can be usefull to diagnose this problem?

Was there ever a resolution to your problem. I have several server running Windows 2000 with the same issue. I did have this problem in our NT 4 environment but I can not find the posting that helped me solve the problem. Any information would be helpfull.

If you manually launch IBMSETUP.EXE, does it work? Also, what version of MSVCRT.DLL are you running? Assuming you're using IBM Director v3.1 or higher, it requires v6.0.
