Im having a hard time understanding the filter configuration in IBM Director 2.2,
Example : I have a PowerWare UPS that is monitored by the Director using resource monitors. When the power fails the alert value on the UPS changes from 0 to 2. Then the server knows that the UPS is running on battery and notifies admin. When the remaining battery time goes below 4 minutes it shuts down the other servers and finaly itself. So far everything works great
but te problem is when the power comes back on. The Director starts checking the alert and battery time and finds that the battery time is below 4 since it just started to charge the battery and shuts down all the servers again.
So my question is this : How do i have the director check the alert value before checking the remaing battery time.
