IBM is developing a technology that it says will quadruple the capacity of a disk drive and dramatically increase the amount of data that can be stored on disk

"Magnetic hard drive density doubled every 18 months through 1996; since 1998, it has doubled every 12 months. "

Thx for the link to IBM article. I've read that Win98 FAT 32 can support a 2 TB drive. Is this just in theory? What is the largest hard drive that anyone has used with a PC. I thought that 80 GB was cutting edge. thx.
