Hello Ofsouto,
DB2 is unlike other databases in this respect (and in many other) It literally (!!)lends the authorisation ID and Passwords from the operating system. You can see this in effect when you create a new schema, it gives a listing of all users defined on the operating system to choose from ...... T. Blom
