IBM C compiler v5 install instructions?

I'm looking on ibm's site and dont see anything that walks you through installing it. Nor do i see anything on the cd..
anyone know offhand of a redbook/document on how to install it? I remember it goes something like, smitty install it, run some script that creates links and modifies paths and whatnot so it works, then configure licensing. having trouble finding anything though.. would rather follow a proper install guide. the user's guide doesnt seem to cover installation.
