IBM AS/400 DB2 Development center add connection

I am using DB2 for the Windows platform (latest release). I am now trying to add a connection to our AS/400 which runs DB2. All attempts to find our server have failed. How can I know if our AS/400 is setup properly and/or what socket number to connect to?

CAE, Client Access for AS400, DB2 connect?

A windows XP workstation. But would use same approach on Windows 2000 also. Thanks
