IBM 500 series OPOS MSR

I recently installed winxp on this machine and setup aloha successfully, unfortunately I can't seem to get the attached MSR working properly. I have tried in serial and keyboard mode, but still nothing.

I installed opos drivers (possuite v.131) after installing JRE 1.1.8, but in the diagnostic application all that I see is TONE. Should I see the MSR here?

Any direction would be appreciated.

Further to my last:
I am able to connect to Hyperterm at com3 and see the swipe data without problem.

possuite created the appropriate MSR registry entries and I have set alohamgr to the proper opos name, but still nothing when I swipe.
