Hi,
I've a Compaq Proliant 5500R with RA4000. I perform an upgrade on my raid 5 configuration adding 1 disk 9.1GB.
I have open Array configuration utility (2.40A) and i expand my current logical drive to add new disk.
Now I see this message:
"the compaq RA400 controller in raid array is currently performing backuground parity inizialization on the following logical drives:
logical drive 1
once this operation completes, the performance of the logical drives will improve"
It's 3 weeks that I find this kind of message .....

If anyone have some ideas tell me !!!

Thanks
IBI
