IBEvents and Interbase

Hi -

I know this is probably a Firebird discussion subject - but Im desperate and have tried posting in the appropriate ib-Support area on the ATKIN news server. Alas, I cannot see my posts appearing. So my appologies.

I was just wondering if there are any "known Issues" with regards Firebird 1.5 and Delphi InterbaseExpress 7.08 IBEvents components ?

Just that I am having trouble in seeing posted events in my App. I know the trigger responsible for posting the event is firing as It updates a table in the database to acknowledge this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Never mind, it was my problem (had to do an explicit commit before event would fire.)

My fault, I was using the DBNAvigator control for speed of test purposes (so forgot that I needed to commit for that transaction before event would fire.)

Guess Im slightly paranoid with regards compatability issues with Firebird at the moment.
