Hi all,
I've got an application that used to have an Interbase database backend. I'm told that they've recently changed it to use Firebird 1.5 instead.
So none of my Crystal reports are working anymore, and the application vendor has advised me to get a Firebird ODBC driver to connect to the new version of the database.
My questions are:
A) why does the odbc driver look for .gdb files? My database has a .IB extension
B) I get an error "Query Engine Error: 'HY000ynamic SQL Error SQL error code = -206 Column unknown FLD.RDB$FIELD_PRECISION at line 25, column 6' -any ideas what this means?
I am using Crystal Reports 10, although I can't connect anything to this ODBC datasource (tried MS Access as well, same error msg)
Firebird 1.5 Server/Client is installed.
