iastor error in system event log

The exact error in the system log is The device,\Device\Ide\iastor0 did not respond within the timeout period.On one occassion, I had BOD regarding this error and from eventid.net that iastor is the driver for the intel raid controller.
The system is a windows server 2003 and configured as RAID1 and was wondering if any one has come across this issue and any solution to prevent this from occuring.
 
This is a well known issue if you search. It would be nice if you posted what brand/model your server is and how it's configured.

Go to your server manufacturer's web site and try to get the latest driver. If you have the latest driver from there or the problem happens after you update to that driver, try going to Intel and getting an even LATER driver.
