Im working to build a vpn server with the linux distro astaro. I have configure a L2TP/IPSec tunnel with a local authentication. Now im trying to authenticate my users with IAS/DC in a Win2k machine. My problem is that IAS of Windows 2000 only support challenge of 16 bytes length and Astaro uses 20 bytes (standard i think) i think that win2003 works well.. I would like know if there are any update to Ias /Windows 2000 to support variable md5-chap challenge length..
