Is somebody can help me with my problem? When I'am trying to open a saved project , my timeline is empty and the name of my video in my bins change to numbers ex: (12100 or -1). I cannot put them in the timeline. When i try , it's only appear , in the track , a little line that cannot be moved. My video files and previews files are still archive on my hard disk. So , it's goes like this : I creat a new project , work on it , choose my file to save my project in ( scratch disks and device control...) , save it , close adobe premiere. When i re-open my project Premiere doesn't read it.... Please help !!!

( Sorry for my English , I normaly speak French )

I'm using this: -Windows XP
-Adobe Premiere 6.0
-Penthium III 733

thank !

I had the same problem two weeks ago!
It looks to be a bug present in Premiere 6.0 and it was not solved in Premiere 6.5, which appears in the following conditions:
-windows XP;
-PAL projects;
-audio mp3.
The unic effective solution seems to be one of the following:
-change XP (I think it's not practical);
-not using audio mp3 format.

I couldn't understand if the following solutions are effective:
-putting all the files and project on principal (system) partition;
-setting in international configurations the use of "." and "," like used in USA.

In order to recover your original projects you can do the following:
-open with the notepad the project and manually substitute the rate=100,000000 with rate=100.000000 (i.e. substituting the "," with ".");
-use a SW that you can download from, for example (
I hope to give more informations as soon as I'll have a definitive solution.
